This year's Christmas Gifts Shopping

The credit crunch and soaring bills will surely make it a miserly Christmas. People have seen their disposable income drop to nearly a third in two years. Most households are left with just 25 per cent of monthly salary after paying bills.

According to research by Abbey Credit Cards, a quarter of the disposable income goes on mortgage or rent alone, whilst the rising cost of living is hitting hard.

The financial crisis is also set to make this year's Christmas a miserly affair and there will be a drop in the average money spent on Christmas gifts. But the research also reckons gadgets such as the Nokia N96 will be among the top gifts this year.

It's probably time to go bargain hunting. The earlier you get your Christmas gifts the better, in last minute rush you will just end up paying far too much for goods that you can get cheap now.

You can save money by looking for your Christmas gifts from online shops like Amazon.com and myself I shop at Argos.co.uk or any other online stores, you need to shop around.
